Liquid Multivitamins

Between the ages of 6 months to 5 years the only three vitamins the Department of Health recommend supplementing are vitamins A, C, and D. This is because a healthy diet (along with complementary breastmilk/infant formula) often provides most, if not all, of the micronutrients a child needs to grow strong and thrive.

Our carefully formulated product simply gives the three advised vitamins at precisely the right dose and leaves out all the other unnecessary ingredients. By choosing our product you are ensuring no unnecessary, excessive and potentially harmful over-supplementation. Aside from water, the only other ingredient is Glycerine. This small amount of Glycerine is necessary to keep the product fresh.

Our product is free from all nasties including colours, flavourings, artificial sweeteners, refined sugar and allergens. We are also suitable for vegans! This product uses vitamin D3, as opposed to D2, for better absorption.

Liquid Vitamin D3 Drops

According to the NHS & Department of Health, babies who are being breastfed should be given a daily vitamin D supplement from birth, whether or not the breastfeeding parent is taking a supplement containing vitamin D.  Vitamin D helps control the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body.  These nutrients are needed to keep bones, teeth and muscles healthy and a lack of vitamin D can sadly lead to bone deformities such as rickets.  The main source of vitamin D is summer sunlight on our skin, but as it’s so important to keep babies skin safe in the sun it’s recommended to supplement from birth.

Babies from birth to one year of age should be given a daily supplement of 8.5-10 micrograms vitamin D.  Babies who have more than 500ml a day of infant formula do not need a supplement as formula is already fortified.

Our Baby D3 Drops provide the full recommended daily dose of Vitamin D (10 micrograms) in just two drops. The only other ingredients in are Organic Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil and a teeny tiny amount of Vitamin E for freshness. Because of this our vitamins are so gentle on little tummies and reflux friendly. They are also suitable for vegans and registered with the Vegan Society, totally free from all nasties and any other unnecessary ingredients.

Our D3 Drops are practically tasteless and odourless, and really easy to administer (either by dropping onto the nipple before a feed, or applying to a clean finger/pacifier). Reassuringly our drops are made to the highest possible standards in a Grade AA BRC Global Certified Food plant right here in the UK.

Did you know that Rapeseed oil is one of the best vegetable sources of Omega-3 fatty acids? Rapeseed oil contains particularly high amounts of Omega-3 (10 times more than olive oil!), and its chemical structure is very effective at helping the body to process these essential Omega-3 fatty acids. In infancy Omega-3 is especially important for the normal development of brain and nerve cells. In the first two years of life the brain grows unusually fast, so the regular intake of Omega-3 fatty acids is particularly important.
